Guild Chat

Dysfunctional gamer sitcom, “The Guild,” written and staring Felicia Day (see adorable inset above), is back in its second season. If you haven’t seen season 1 yet, it’s available with the new episode on MSN, Xbox Live and Zune. You may remember Felicia from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog. Alternatively, you might know her as “that girl who decided to put Cheetos in the dryer.” Although if you do, that’s a bit depressing.

I’m was a big fan of season 1, but I almost immediately miss youtube (where the first season aired). Who are these people that own one of these “Zunes” or want to use a couple hundred dollar console to watch a 5 minute video clip? I don’t see the appeal.

Anyway, Felicia and “The Knights of Good” do a solid job of making my longstanding gaming addiction look a little less crippling. Well, maybe… It’s funny and definitely worth checking out.
