The thought of Gen. MacArthur giving Bob Hope a buzz cut upon an direct order from Harry Truman during the Korean War is disturbing on many levels. So why is this clip of the POTUS ordering the host of the Colbert Report a high-and-tight so funny?
Could it be because the Korean War inspired the film M*A*S*H, which starred Elliot Gould, who hosted Saturday Night Live, cathedral to Father Guido Sarducci, alter ego of Don Novello and huge influence to Stephen Colbert?
Or is it the WWE-esque clippers coming out, plugged in and ready to go?
Either way, there’s something to be said for the chain of command.

Bret Michaels represented rock ‘n roll at last night’s Tony Awards in true headbanger fashion. I’m not one to profit from another’s misery but hey come on, how could I resist? It don’t get better than this!
Nothing like a dude’s ass up in your grill to give you good reason to leave early and get a jump on traffic.
Eminem’s latest album ‘Relapse’ dropped last week and Bruno is due out in theaters July 10. Staged? Yes? No?

Name Dat Ride!

Ask any guy in Hollywood and they’ll tell you there’s no better way to give a lady a lift than by offering her a ride on the ol’ ’stacherino.
Be the first to correctly name the actor who owns THIS ride in the ‘comments’ section below and win your very own novelty mustache. (Hint: the actor was born in the Motor City.)
Good luck and happy cruisin’!
Public Domain Theatre presents… Night of the Living Dead
by moodmonster
If you find that you’re too poor to go to the movies this weekend, or if Netflix has closed your account due to non-payment, then sit back, relax and welcome to Public Domain Theatre’s presentation of Night of the Living Dead.
Directed and independently produced by George A. Romero in 1968, NOTLD lapsed into the public domain—the orphaned child of intellectual property which are not owned or controlled by anyone—after the original theatrical distributor neglected to place a copyright indication on the prints.
NOTLD put zombie movies on the map with it’s creepy story of seven people trapped in a rural Pennsylvania farmhouse. The National Film Registry calls it “historically, culturally or aesthetically important”. I call it a bad idea to watch while tripping.
Starring Duane Jones, Judith O’Dea and Karl Hardman, Public Domain Theatre now proudly presents, Night of the Living Dead.
