Last night’s election results in states I do not reside left a huge impact on complex domestic and foreign issues alike.  Unquestionably, we can extrapolate the results of statewide elections and form one singular conclusion all nuclear physicists and political pundits can agree on as we march towards a more perfect union and world peace…

Carrie Prejean Gets Another 15 Mins

by O.C.

The dethroned beauty queen Carrie Prejean’s stand against “opposite marriage” (opposite marriage here meaning same-sex marriage and not the opposite sex marriage), may have caused her the crown but not her fifteen minutes of fame. Prejean plans to share her story in a book called “Still Standing,” because the title “Still Stupid” was taken.

As of yet the book doesn’t have a release date but Prejean will detail how there’s a double standard on free speech and bias against conservative women, “who stand up for their beliefs but lay down in comfy beds in expensive hotels for the crown.”

She’s a Beauty Queen, so of course she won’t be actually writing the book or reading it. But you better believe her conservative fans Bill O’Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and others will rush out to grab a copy of this book like they rushed to see her boobs on thedirty.com.

Gone are the days when Beauty Queens twirled their batons, posed in swimsuit calenders, did Playboy spreads and kept their political views to themselves. Soon swimsuit calendars and nudity magazines that were once dominated by Beauty Queens will soon be infiltrated by Sarah Palin, Hillary Rodham Clinton or Janet Reno.

Music Industry: Shame on you for leaking those Guns N’ Roses songs!

by Richard

The history of the recording industry is less a trajectory of artistic and technological advances in music than an unremitting lesson in tragedy and resilience. In what seems to be a sick contrivance of the music gods, Michael Jackson’s death occurred only months after the 50th anniversary of “The Day the Music Died”—the fateful date of Buddy Holly’s demise in a freak plane crash. Over the course of this ominous half-century, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has suffered the untimely passing of Elvis Presley, John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain, along with dozens of other setbacks like Napster and Ashlee Simpson.

But neither the unfortunate deaths of yesteryear’s stars nor the legal setbacks of today can compare to the irremediable damage caused by the infamous Guns N’ Roses/Dr. Pepper incident which transpired at the close of the 2008 calendar year. Because the only person who tells Axl Rose what to do is Axl Rose. And Dr. Pepper. But especially, Dr. Pepper.

YOU’RE FIRED

by Wayne

Yesterday Carrie Prejean, the now former Miss California, got FIRED by Donald Trump for failure to honor her pageantry commitments. Apparently, Prejean refused to attend a number of scheduled and mandated events made by the pageant committee. It’s hard to believe that you would get fired if your entire job consisted of showing up and you couldn’t even do that, right?

Prejean protests that she wasn’t shit-canned because of her failure to communicate, but rather for her political views expressed on national television earlier this year. If you’ll recall her opposition to the gay marriage question proposed to her by some over dressed transvestite nobody remembers?

Carrie Prejean’s duties have now been usurped by the Runner Up to the Miss California pageant. Now that unfortunate woman will have the pointless job that nobody seems to care about. Shaking hands with terminally ill patients and posing for non-nude calendars that no man would willingly purchased unless it was stole in the 1950’s.
